FOH is a totally different animal to what you're used to with Sonar.  What sort of stuff do you want to know?

What kind of music, venues, big clubs or small clubs etc, etc....?  Is it a Solo act or duet, or a full band of some sort?  (3 or more players/singers)

Are you just starting out, as in, for the first time never done it before, or have you played live before?  What gear do you have for this or do you need suggestions?

If you're just starting, start simple and small, then build the gear and lights as you see the need. Most of the places you will play starting out will have very limited space for you so small gear is the best bet. There's a bunch of nice gear designed for the small to medium sized club act. Lots of it is the self powered sort with a small mixer and speakers on a pole.  It's actually pretty amazing how large a room can be covered with small gear. Sure beats the gear I used to have to drag around.

Provide some details and we an narrow in on the specifics for you.  I know there's a bunch of folks here with live playing experience and some still play live gigs.
