Getting project tracks from Garage Band into X1

HI - a friend of mine recorded his band on Garage Band on his home computer - about 5 -6 tracks. He would like me to mix this - I have X1. What are the steps of saving and then importing this project over  to me?

Thanks !

If he can export each track separately as a broadcast wave file (includes time info), you can then create the needed number of audio tracks in X1. Right click each track and "import audio." They should then automatically line up.

I would recommend starting there and if anything goes amiss to ask for more detail.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.
