I'm going to make a wild guess at this as I've never worked with GM2.
In PA9, select menu Options>Instruments....
The left hand side lists the available port/channels available and the right side lists instruments available to assign to the port/channels.
Is there an instrument for the xv-5050 that includes "GM2"? Or an instrument called something like "Roland GM2" and maybe "Roland GM2 Drums" ?
If so, assign the appropriate ports on the left to the GM2 related instruments on the right. Normally channel 10 is assigned to the instrument that includes "Drums" in the name.
Also at the bottom of the panel on the right side is an option to save the changes for the next session. Check that if you want the changes to be saved. Otherwise leave it unchecked and they should revert the next time you start PA9 (I think!).
