Getting to the MIDI FX with "Simple Instrument Tracks"

Hello,

I noticed when using a "Simple Instrument" track for a softsynth that you can no longer find the MIDI Effects area to use the "Chord Analyzer" or "Transpose" plugins.  Is there a way to view them using "Simple Instrument" view?

    Yes... press I to open the Inspector. Then use the Audio and MIDI tabs at the bottom of the Inspector to access all parameters for a Simple Instrument track. For the MIDI Fx bin, click the MIDI tab, etc.

    Hey Adam,

    No problem... glad I could help. Yeah, the Simple Instrument tracks were a pain to use in past versions, but with the new Inspector they work great now in X1.

    Thanks very much! I appreciate it. Yeah, it really does take some time and effort to really learn how to use a complex piece of software like SONAR. But putting in that time really pays off later on when you're actively working on projects.
