I wonder what's up with Philips? Is there a new course for Gibson?
Is Gibson gonna fall too? What's up with the other Gibson ventures at this time?

As far as I know Gibson acquired an audio and media devision from Philips. It was a bit puzzling move, because the Gibson brand is not known as a multimedia hardware maker. I guess it was a mistake that has cost a lot of money, and probably lead to closing down Cakewalk/Sonar.

Do not forget Gibson was in deep debt already. This has only added to that debt that sits around $500 million at this time. If Gibson does not find a new source of money before somewhere in 2018, chances are they go belly-up.
