Gigabyte P67 UD-3 vs. Z68 D-3 B3 Mobo's for overclocked i-7 2600-K

Any thoughts.

Price is comparable, I read Gigabyte is going to discontinue P67's but I don't really track these things, just want a solid mobo.

I'm looking for a motherboard for a new system.  I was planning on using the gigabyte p67-ud5-b3 but they seem to be out of stock at newegg at the moment.  So while looking for possible alternatives I started checking out the z68 boards.  I'm planning to build with an i5 2500k cpu.  The more I looked the more I started leaning towards the ASUS p8z68-v pro with a ti firewire card dropped in.

When I looked at the the gigabyte z68-ud5-b3 there were a few things that I didn't care for about it

    1) It's a z68 board but it doesn't come with the Virtu graphics stuff and there's no onboard graphic outs.

    2) There were a couple of reviews that suggested it just wasn't that great for over clocking

    3) There were also a couple of mentions that the bios was not all that great compared to some other manufacturers

I'll be the fist to admit you have to take things you read online with a grain of salt and the z68 boards haven't been out for long so there's not a lot of info to draw from.  I just felt that I wanted a board that would be able to draw on the full capabilities of the 2500k chip whether I use them today or not.  The SRT feature sounds good and I like that z68 gives the best of both p67 and h67 feature sets.  If I'd already gone with one of those boards I wouldn't really care that much, but since I haven't bought yet it makes sense to me to go z68 at this point.

The lower gigabyte boards don't have the TI firewire chipset and it bugs me a bit to have to spend so much for a motherboard just to get that.  In the end I just decided to decouple that by going with a TI firewire PCIe card and then choosing a motherboard based on it's capabilities.  On that level I found the z68-ud5-b3 to be overpriced and lacking.
