Gigspanner

I saw Peter Knight's Gigspanner last night. Fantastic musicians and some interesting arrangements including an African influenced piece.

Knight was the fiddle player with Steeleye Span, it must be 40 years since the last time I saw him on stage. They played a couple of Steeleye songs such as "Hard times of Old England"

Lousiana Flack was a highlight with Roger Flack "assisting" Peter's fiddling.

On the darker side here is a a disturbing video for the disturbing Death and the Lady

Excellent. What a unique (to me) video, really well done.

The Video is by French film maker Perrine Nouvier. In the concert Peter Knight said he had sent her the album and asked he to pick a track. This was the result, he recommended we look for it on Youtube after the show.
