Very well done. I could see this as a theme for an HBO show.

Very cool! I like the orchestation and instrument choices. I would have liked a real ending though. Daryl

Hi PCode, Nice melodies! Needs hand-drums layered over the top with some finger cymbals too? Da - da-da - da-da kind of beat? Any chance of using a real string instrument other than midi? Or, maybe less overall quantizing to try to get more natural feel? Sonicaly, this is great. Where are you from? Rimshot

GREAT piece. Really like the flow and the percussion work. I'm with Rimshot, I wish your other instrumentations had more of a real feel. KUDOS! Kev

I agree, very nice composition. It has a middle eastern feel to it. The midi aspect of it makes it sound stiff and too rigid. It is a difficult thing to get midi based music to sound like it was played by real musicians. Although, as an electronica style, it fits perfectly. In that case the midi works well. Electronica to the best of my understanding is suppoed to be right on the beat.... wow.... strange way to end a song. I'd rework that ending. Altogether, a nice tune.. Well done.

Interesting sound. Mix sounds reasonable here. Thanks for sharing. There are some CAL scripts about that will help add a little more feel to the midi parts. If you interested PM me and I will see what I can sort out.

I listend to V2, since I noticed it had just been put up. I don't know it differs from the one that everyone above was commenting on. But I think it's pretty cool and has a nice, hypnotic vibe to it and a good selection of tones that work together quite nicely. Has anyone invented hip-hop belly dancing yet? If not, maybe you just did.

Very nice. I like what's going on very much. As mentioned, some of the instruments could be better but over all, very well done. Nice job!

Hi Guys, Thank you so much for giving it a try, I do have V2 up now with better ending and some more drums overlaid ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t-Kv5ZfOcs Rimshot: I don’t have access to any real instruments, but I will eventually purchase SD2 by EWQL.

PCode, version II is much better! Someday I would like to try to reproduce your melody on acoustic guitar. If you can give me lots of time to try, send me an MP3 of it along with the BPM. I would not mind trying. Good job on the drums. Rimshot

Well I was skeptical, I like the melody but the midi instruments are a little cold, you could turn this into a peice of performance art, this is how I would look at it. Not too bad and at least it not christmas music. Peace Ben
