Glitch with third party VSTi's: sound continues after stopping playback

Lets say I have a MIDI track playing, and it's going through a synthesizer. I stop the song mid-note, and then although the song is not playing, the MIDI note can still be heard. This only occurs with certain third party synthesizers, such as Ugo Rez and TAL-Noisemaker. Does anyone know how to fix this? P.S. it's not got to do with 32 64 problems because one is 32 bit and the other is 64 bit. Thanks for any help.

    It's a known issue. There's a thread about it here :

There is a couple of workarounds in that thread that you can try.

Something is allowing the synth to "hang" and the note continues.

I have had this happen quite a few times through the years. It happens when the synth, for one reason or another doesn't get the "off" signal when you stop playback.

At the top of the screen, next to the BPM tab there is a "synth active" button that (on my DAW) turns BLUE when the synth is active. Clicking it when a note hangs will force the synth to shut off. It will restart automatically when you resume playback.
