Gobbler not working correctly
My button is always grey and is not connecting when I am logged in to Gobbler. I get the error "Gobbler service could not connect. Login to Gobbler first. I am logged in. I don't understand why it doesn't work within Sonar. Is there something else that should be turned on somewhere?

Are you a previous Gobbler user or have you just installed it? You'll need the newer client from their website to sync up correctly.

I am not a previous Gobbler user. I know there was an update and did do that. If I have downloaded from the wrong area, can you send me a link to the correct area?
Thanks

You'd need to log into the Gobbler site with your account and get the link directly from their page. Though you should be updated and all set there. The other quick suggestion is, have you tried resetting the PC yet? I know that's rudimentary, but it's an honest suggestion.
I recommend that you contact support directly and see if it's some specific combination on your system that's preventing the handshake.

I use Gobbler on an x64 OS and with x64 Sonar Producer Edition. Works fine for me.
StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

This may or may not be anyone in particular's problem, but I'll toss this out just in case... I have noticed that there is a distinct window of time where the status between Gobbler (client application) and the Gobbler widget within Sonar can get out of sync. If you turn on Gobbler within Sonar before Gobbler (client application) has completely started and synchronized itself, you will get error messages from the Sonar widget. Make sure that the Gobbler client isn't still 'beaming from outerspace' and is fully quiescent before you turn it on from within Sonar. TIA

fjmj1238 This from SonarSupport: Thank you for contacting Cakewalk Support. Unfortunately Gobbler dropped sync for Windows operating systems with the most recent versions of their software. As a result any project sync functions built into SONAR LE are no longer available. I'm sorry for the unfortunate news. Best regards, Sarah Product Support Cakewalk, Inc.
This thread is over 3 years old and the news is just as old.

No need to take a rude tone with me. "DUDE" I intended no confrontation just passing on the info that lack of Gobbler support is old news.
So let's start again. Welcome to the forums Frederick.
Your post didn't indicate that your news from Sonar support was just now supplied to you.
Especially when the thread has lain dormant for 3 years and that is about as long ago as Gobbler dropped Windows support.

Your post above, for the most part, is a lot more informative. Thanks for the "new" news.
