Good solid groove, but after waiting for 3 minutes for some kind of melody or even a chord change, I gave up.

In what book, in who's universe, in what art class is it written that all songs must have a melody and chord changes....?? How about lyrics, is that mandatory too ?? Ever been to a drum circle ??  Ever been to a jam session ?? ever been to a songwriting session, where the song develops over time ?? Are you going to complain because there's no lyrics whining about some dizzy dame that just left you ?? What, no mile a minute rant about some social or political or racial injustice ?? No Justin Timberlake dancing for the ladies ?? No Madonna flashing her boobs for the camera ?? No Lady Gaga gay outfits ?? No Elton John glasses ?? No Margarita's ?? Just music, just noise. Something to break the silence, that is all. Discuss....How do I view this piece ?? Let's say the Beatles, Michael Jackson and Ravi Shankar were flying on a plane to India to work on a musical collaboration.....if you were a fly on the wall, this musical piece is what you might hear.....then again maybe not....it's just entertainment. There are no rules. Instead of trashing something you don't understand, try adding a lead part, your own lyrics, you're own drum beat....contribute something rather than just bash it. What would you do if you were on that plane with the Beatles, Michael Jackson and Ravi Shankar ??

Did Beethoven ever write lyrics to his 5th Symphony ??

Wayne, you're right, there's no rules to creativity.  Did you enjoy doing this song?  That's what matters.  If you're here only for positive comments, then those are mine.

    All the best,

I disagree, every culture on the planet defines creativity.  That's why we have multi-culturalism rather than epileptic idiocy.

Thanks I had a blast putting that piece together. It was a lot of fun watching it come together, the heavy synth bass with the B3 and sitar....a drum loop and sitar ?? hypnotic......light up some incense and get in the mood !!!!

I'm going to have even more fun when I do a re-mix of it...

Yes I enjoy the hell out of this jam....

I gotta tell ya. I spent that last week in the hospital with a very painful foot infection (cellulitis) I still have it but am home now. You don't know how good it feels to be home now....Even though I'm still in pain, it's much better than being in the hospital. It feels so good to be home with my studio....even though it's about impossible to write music right now, just being at home makes me happy.....
