    Yeah, I'm not great with genres either...   I'd say it's some type of electronica, with a nice ambient side to it.  The synth leads (melody and sound) reminded me a little of Tomita, placed over a solid groove with nice textures floating around.

    This reminds me of a BBC theme song for a crime show.  Is that a genre?
