Gonna get me some o' deez

I just can't figure out which ones to get:

I really like those red ones, and they're STUDIO cans.  But those silver ones are PRO!

You may need both.

What if company comes over?

You use the silver ones and let your company use the red ones.

Does Alan Parsons recommend them?

He's up on modern technology I hear.

I herd he sports the Pro model when running around in his RAM costume.  I think this may be true because I just read it in my own post.

Hi,

Either one is good.

I've only heard these once, and did not have any of the music I wanted to hear with it ... to tell you how good they were.

I imagine that they are very strong on the lower bass and stuff, but lousy on the mids and the highs, and I probably would find some of the mid-period Tangerine Dream, or Klaus Schulze, where you have 15 very dubtle synth layers going in different directions that will tell you how good these really are.

Btw ... the best I have ever heard? .. a pair by  Sony at their shop ... $699 list and the sales persoon offered to take $50 dollars more with any other purchases. I have to tell you that that thing not only felt magnificent -- not tight or loose or bulky -- but it also gave your ears a massive workout in detail!

I like the mids and highs very clear.

This is why I love my ESS-Heil AMT 1 speakers ... that big boomer of a speaker that has a magnet that weighs 75 pounds, and then the air motion transformer that is very good with the highs ... I once asked JaMac here in Portland (look them up on the net!) and they have re-coned my speakers twice since 1983 ... and I asked if we could/should add a mid range or tweeter to the speaker to make it more distinctive. So he says ... let me show you this ... and started blasting several other speakers over there and monitors and such ... and none had half the clarity that mine did on the same piece of music.

Gads ... those things cost me $375 each on 1976 and they still are magnificent ... when I got them re-coned, the first thing I did was put on the first 2 cuts on Porcupine Tree's Deadwing ... and 15 minutes later, my roomate comes down and goes ... damn ... those are good and clean speakers!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
