Good Job Cakewalk!!!

Hey,

I bought the upgrade from Producer 8.5.3 to X1 in late December and ended up really disappointed when I installed it. It was very buggy and crash prone on my rig. I could never go longer than an hour or two before it would crash to the desktop and require a restart. Not sure was causing it, because the crashes were so random and sudden. CW support was unable to pinpoint any one thing, but were trying to recreate the crashes in their lab. It was pretty much unusable, so I uninstalled it.

Since then X1b and the quick fixes have been released, and the the general tone on the forum seems to have really changed. X1 seems to be receiving much fewer verbal floggings.... So I reinstalled X1 today with all the new patches, and I have to say, so far it seems rock solid on my rig.  Not a single crash, not even after importing 8.5 projects into X1. (which was causing epic Michael Bay style crashes before)

So props to Cakewalk. Great job guys! Keep up the good work, and thanks for a great product.

Ryan

    Keep enjoyiing your positive experience.
Are you a heavy user of the deeper features using both MIDI and audio or are you using audio only? Lot's of plugons or aa few.

share your usage as it will give some context to your comments.
