 Well I didn't have time to check the demos out before the sale ended.

I don't like rushed situations, especially when they want my money. If you want us to look your products over Waves give us a chance.

Yeah, this was an unusual promo for Waves ... generally they run their specials for at least a month.  Strategy:  when you have some time, demo the products that interest you, decide what you want (if anything), then wait for the inevitable sale to pull the trigger. 
 
And Bit man, it's OK to be a curmudgeon -- we need some of those around here.  :-)
