Good news from the deepest 3rd party developer...

Seems like next mods are not patches anymore... I can now read & write stuff directly in Deep.
Here is a screen capture:

Thus switching between any old mod (or factory setting) is done with three mouse clicks:
- Open dropdown list
- Select theme
- Click Save.

Save appends selected theme to the current. In other words, if your current theme is Dark Side and you select ProChannel - Danzi' Style *), Deep will build Danzi's Style over Dark Side (which changes only ProChannel GUI).

*) Deep has new, unpublished built-in ProChannel styles.

First alpha tester(s) may get it at the end of next week if things go well.

    Hi Panu...

That's great news! That'll take even more of what little nervousness some have regarding these 3rd party tools. Will it allow for mix and match between elements of different mods?

I look forward to seeing this as I know you've put a lot of work into it...

    Best of Luck Always!

Currently it's possible to append new over old but I am able to make ultimate freedom, too. It requires new program code...
Now it's already possible to make an own theme from my old mods by using one of them as a ground for the new one. Graphics are exported to ordinary PNG and BMP files.
You'll be able to replace ANY graphics element of the GUI with a PNG/BMP file. You can also take import image(s) from a DLL file.

That sounds very powerful... If I'm understanding you correctly... Wien you say 'any' graphic element, does that include all the one's not yet supported by Sonar Skinner?

Honestly I'm very comfortable with the Black Label Mod... Of the few things I'd like to 'fix' are getting the entire column to show current/selected track in CV... Right now I get only partial change when I am there. If the tracks are wide, the fader area changes and if the tracks are narrow, I get the FX send area changing...

Easy to live with, but i would be nice... ;-)
