Good soundcard advice needed.

Im about to buy myself a new computer and Im also upgrading to SONAR X1 Producer. Can anyone out there suggest a good soundcard so I can get the best out of SONAR?
Thanks in advance.

I'm about to buy myself a new house, and also upgrade my garage. Can anyone suggest a good car for me so I can get the best out of the roads.

Sorry to sound factious, but my parallel question is about as open as yours. You will need to provide much more information in order to get specific help around here.

    i.e.

How many inputs/outputs you are after
Do you want DSP on board
    What O/S
    MIDI?
    etc
    etc
    etc

I have used M-Audio and have moved on to MOTU...there is quite a price gap, but I have had great success with both brands....+ 1 to Silver Fox UK as well as the others here, though...depends greatly on what your are needing and budget. Good luck!

If you only need a couple of pres and have the ching, I'd second the Babyface. Excellent sound quality.

Good advice. Particularly the page that gets you define what you require. The actual list does not cover all the options. For example no Roland Quad and Octa Capture.
