Really nice Rik. I might not call it Bach though. It reminds me of Villa Lobos at times.

Great use of form. I enjoyed this a lot. Thanks for sharing!

    Very well done!

Sounds awsome, really love your work.

It's so peaceful something I am not, so I appreciate this even more.

    You were smiling, weren't you?
This sounds very much like you were having fun playing it.
I might like to hear it with a lot less reverb.
This makes me want to watch clouds, a favorite pastime.

    Hi Rik,

Great piece!  Excellent playing and recording but maybe a little too much reverb?

Hi Robert, thanks for listening, like the Villa-Lobos idea one of my favorite composers.  I innitially thought I'd composed something new until I realized I was playing Air on a g-string, thought I'd better give Bach some credit ; )

Hi Ben, thanks for listening, glad you find it calming, now take a deep breath.....

Hi Robert(B), thanks for listening, yep I was smiling till I listened to it today, wayyyy to much reverb, fixed it, I hope ; ) Keep watching those clouds.

Hi Luke, thanks for listening, this is fun to play.

Hi Gary, thanks for listening, way to much reverb, what was I thinking ; ) Fixed now.

Hi Grant, thanks, glad you like it.

Hi Larry, thanks for listening, fixed the reveb, misguided attempt, please point those out : )

    Hi John, thanks, : )

    Rik,

Really fine work as always.  I don't know what it is about this tune, one of my favorites you have done.   Second listen now.....  I could imagine a singer making a pop song out of this piece starting at 1:03 forward.....

    Really beautiful.

I didn't hear the first version but I like the 'up close' feeling of the one I just listened to.

The sections with the pedal notes (or the repeated same bass notes) stand out for me.

    Cheers,
    Terry.

    Hi, Rik,

Another beautiful guitar instrumental with very tasty playing, as always, and it also seems to have sort of a Spanish flourish throughout!  Although, I do agree that the thumbed bass notes do seem to give it a bit of a Bach feel.

    Very nice, my friend!
