well that's the thing, t'internet is the authority on everything now. I can remember having ongoing disputes with mates about who scored the winning goal against whoever. You would have had to go to a library, looked up an old game program or newspaper which of course you never did because it wasn't that important.

I remember tracing back the chain of "authorities" to determine the value and authenticity of the original source. It was usually along the lines of, "I heard from this guy with the big blonde afro in the record store in Uptown that he knew a dude at the SuperDawg who played bass in a band that used to jam in a garage down the street from this big guy with a huge Harley who would ride over to a club in Bucktown near that place with the great Gyros where that one guy burned his hands on the fries and the dude behind the counter was wearing a button that was the same colour as the old VW bug that used to sit in front of that abandoned warehouse where that kid with the scar would set off fireworks that he bought from a guy who looked a lot like that guy on the commercial for the used car salesman that wears a plaid jacket like this other dude's dad who said that he read somewhere that the Moon landing was faked. They made a mistake and landed on Mars. It's true. You can look it up." Those were the days.

It works here it seems like your work filter is blanking it on the ground that it has no specific classification with something like ICRA and not taking any chances. (cue another shameless plug)

daryl1968 well, that maybe a slight exaggeration but I really miss the days when you could 'argue' for days about 'which actor was in...'?, 'who wrote such and such a song...' or just about anything that in the olden days would have taken a fair amount of research. These days, 2 minutes on t'internet and you have the answer. You know what'r really ruining my life Daryl? Youtube! I can't even watch a video without looking at things that are related in the side-bar. The next thing you know, 4 hours goes by and I say to myself "I did it again!" It's really getting nuts! I literally have to ignore the side-bar or I know I'll be here watching related material until the cows come home. LOL! Then....you get so into it, you somehow wind up in that "weird part" of Youtube where you don't know how you ended up there and are shaking your head wondering what type of people put these videos up? LOL! -Danny

Try and turn on US TV without seeing Gordon Ramsey, Simon Cowell or Sharon Osbourne. Even on this forum - they're everywhere. Bloody brits ;)

I was going to blame Google, YouTube, the BeeGees, etc., but it turns out that someone much closer to me ruined my life. After a long period of deep introspection, I realized that I can't really blame anyone else for my failures and regrets. It was Captain Kangaroo. That dude was seriously strange.
