Got a WAI question....

Is there a setting for when I move to the next page of of tracks (9-16) and so on...that the console view will scroll with the WAI feature??? Im sure this has been ask and answered before...It kinda sucks when you have several tracks and you have to grab your mouse and manually scroll over when you move from page to page.. Thanks for any input guys !!

    Hi stratrat1,

You could always just select a track from the surface. In other words, if you start of on tracks 1-8, but bank to tracks 17-24, try pressing the [SEL] button for Track 17 on the surface. The Track View and/or Console View will jump to your selection.

Still no luck Ryan it does not move to selected track. this one paticular tune has 36 tracks of audio so naturally some of them are hidden by the busses that overlap.(in console mode.. I have the tracks in folders on the tracks page) It will not scroll behind the busses unless I manually scroll with my mouse....bummer :-(.. Also put in the new fantom editor software and still no luck with audio making it through...bummer number two.... I still love this system.. The fantom editor does recognize both 700r's now though...

    Hi stratrat1,

I'm sorry for the confusion, this behavior is new to SONAR X1. I'm assuming from your signature you're still running SONAR 8.5. This would explain why you aren't seeing this.

In SONAR X1, the Console View jumps to your track selection in the Track View. This is the behavior overall when selecting a track (not specific to the VS-700C).

In regards to the Fantom VS, can you try launching SONAR while holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard. When it says, "SONAR will now personalize your user settings", make sure to click [OK]. Afterwards, try testing the Fantom VS again.

So I can'tget the console window to scroll with the selected WAI tracks??? bummer...LOL.... no worries just a bit of a pain.I'm trying to ween myself off of the mouse as much as I possibly can.. With the 700C I was hoping to get back to old school mixing fully... Not a big deal.. I will try the shift key trick for the fantom when I get off work tonight Ryan. Thanks again my friend !!
