Got my rebate



1. I sent in a Rebate form fully filled out after buying the VS 700C for which it was for. Clearly advertised on the Rebate form

2. 3 months later I called and they said they my rebate was sitting on a desk.

3. 5 months later I called and they said had to register my Unit for rebate.

4. 6 months later I called and they said accounting is processing the order.

5. 7 months later they see it in the system but don't know the status.

6. I called back and upon 3-4 calls to customer service all of the reps said they would get back to me. Not one single agent emailed or called back to confirm anything.

Then out of nowhere came the rebate. Thank Gawd!

    wow sorry to hear that.. sounds like my luck. whats disturbing is I too with in the last 3 weeks have called cakewalk for a simple answer about the price on the v-700 cable , 3 times I was told I would receive an email , never did, seems they are either under staffed or just have ****ty employees that answer the phone and dont like there job. 3 weeks ago when I called I had some extra money and was deciding between what to buy first the console or the interface, So i was waiting and waiting ,for this email, Nothing.. I held off buying and now a few bills came up, and now I buy nothing.

    Computer - Intel Q9550, Intel BX48bt2 MB, W8 64 bit. 8 gb Ram, SSD  
    Hardware - Tascam Fw1884 Control surface only, Ni S49 Komplete Kontroll,Roland Quad Capture, Ni Machine,Kore, Focusrite A/D converter, Blue Mic, Roland Gaia, Akai Mpk49, Yamaha HS80 Monitors.
    Software - Sonar Platinum , Vengeance VPS bundle,Sugar Bytes Effectrix, Turnado, NI Komplete 10 Ultimate, Dune, Rob Papen  Blade , Delay, Punch Evolved.

    Oh I know the feeling, I had called and emailed and finally just gave up...after 10 months a check came in the mail...hmm...cool...but why they couldn't just be up-front with me about how long it would take...I almost switched DAWs because I was sooo mad !!

    So... maybe you could change the title of this thread now? I understand your frustration with the time it took. I didn't even ask for mine because my purchase was borderline the date. I hope you're happy with the VS700 system, I know I am.
