Graphics Card for 3 monitors

I need some advice on a grahics card for running 3 monitors. I have been using the i7 CPU graphics for 2 monitors. One DVI and the other with a HDMI to DVI cable. has worked fine but I want to add a 3rd monitor VSTi's and FX. My rig is used for DAW only. DVI and HDMI are what I want to use. I only need a stable usable card no bells or whistles. I just don't know how cheap I can go or how much I may need to spend. Do I need to run all three of of new card or can one go on the i7? I would be grateful for any help and recommendations.

I have used 3 monitors , but 2 were on a card.. the other on the mobo gfx.. which is also do-able, so maybe thats what a lot more were doing also.

you could add another gfx card, but it obviously depends on what the mobo has pci-e etc wise.
