Great deal on Sterling Audio ST77 Mic

ST77 hasas gotten some very good reviews and normally sells for about $500. GC also has an offer to save an extra $30 on a $199 or more purchase. So this mic can be had for $169. I couldn't resist that deal and jumped on it yesterday. The extra 30 off deal ends today though, but $199 is still a nice price too. http://www.guitarcenter.c...al=1&browser=&src=st77

    It's a good mic. I have the ST79 which is the multipattern version. I would reccomend a tube preamp if you have one.

    Don't have a tube pre, but plan to use the GAP Neve clone. My main concern is finishing the room treatments. Been using an SM7 and room reflections are pretty much a non-issue. Now I'll be motivated to get it finished before the condenser arrives by thurs or fri.
