Great little documentary about a Swedish tape enthusiast

Loved watching this. Micke is totally nuts about magnetic tape and has made his life revolve around it. Really fantastic little documentary with some fantastic music.

Unfortunately, the documentary got the attention of some copyright holders, who succeeded in shutting down his blog.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Yeah from the comments:

It is actually quite sad. Micke ended his blog in may since people had contacted him about copyright claims (ironically some old punk bands).
Ironic is right! They obviously weren't serious punks

Doubtful that they could even spell "copyright" correctly.  Probably some manager who was worried about losing 23 cents that might come to him.

Video was always up, it was his blog that went offline.

All I could muster was a sense of benign pity.

    I enjoyed the African music.

I hope he continues to enjoy his interests.

I thought he was going to throw a wobbly when he got to the gig venue and realized his magnetic rod had been among the tapes. And then I thought hmmm....was that a little something "extra" thrown into the documentary to create interest? Because I cannot for the life of me imagine how or why he would put that thing into a box of important cassettes.
