I don't know who she is, what she sings, but I sympathize...

Yuuuch! Reminds me of the Night Gallery episode where some guy had a earworm crawl into his ear. He went through a period of excruciating pain and madness, but survived when the thing crawled out. Everything was good until the doctor told him the earworm was female and had layed her eggs while on this trip inside his head. Eeewww. What a creepy episode that was.

Broken pencils are pointless.

As a child I sometimes watched things I had no business watching like this episode. I was terrified of earwigs once I found out they were a real species ( although the burrowing thing was fictional). For awhile I actually slept with earplugs.
