Group all Channel Strip Controls

Is it seriously not possible to group a number of channels so that the controls work together intelligently without having to group each set of controls individually?

What I want to be able to do is, for example, have a group for my three Kick channels which will have mutes, solos, fader moves, pan, etc. move together without having to group each of the above one at a time.

Hoping I'm just missing something obvious.

You can easily set up quick groups just by control + clicking the tracks you want, then control + adjusting the parameter you want

Alternatively you can set up permanent groups by right clicking any control and choose a group to add it to, then rinse & repeat for the same control on other tracks

Or use a combination of the two, use quick groups to create persistent groups. Still have to set up groups for each control type one at a time. There is no "create persistent groups all controls for selected tracks" option.

For simple use cases you can set the controls as appropriate for the three kick channels, then send to a bus for master control.

Yeah this has happened to me after the update, Selection of tracks is a bit messed up on Track View, For example, you select a track, the number is highlighted blue and the clip is highlighted, then select another track but the track doesnt highlight, the previous selected track is highlighted....

This thread is not about selection issues after an update but about grouping controls. There is a thread about selection issues related to Gloucester and the problem is related to a specific setting see http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3265014
