Guitar Effects

Hello, I am brand new to this Program and forums, so i really don't know much about it. I have my electric guitar connected to my computer, and have been messing around with Cakewalk Music Creator 5 LE, and I can't find a way to change the way my guitar sounds when i am just playing it through my speakers. I see a bunch of options that seem to do nothing, or say they don't work. I am basically looking to add some Overdrive to my sound, and change bass/treble settings. Can anyone help?

    I don't think there's an amp sim that comes with MC5LE.  you have to upgrade to the full MC5 in order to get Amplitube LE so that you can change amp sims.

    You can check by right-clicking in the guitar track's effects bin (FX). You may have Amp Sim Lite.

    If you want to look like your favourite band, or simply to make your guitar playing more exciting, you need effects. Guitar Multi Fx has what it takes to make your guitar playing more fun and entertaining. You get a lot more control over the sound you would with pedals, ground-processors, or other effects software.

    There are loads of free amp/cabinet sims on the market. FreeAmp3 is one of the best, I guess.

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
