Guitar HArd/software compatibility

Need to generate MIDI notation from my electric guitar, much preferably in the SONAR LE dating back to 2007(?)that arrived with a Samson mike. I have recorded plenty from a keyboard with a TurtleBAy interface, and now need the same ease for a guitar. Don't need any special effects. Any recommendations for a program or gadget proven to be compatible with Sonar LE would be appreciated, that is, will generate notation for both the staff and possibly the PRV, and hopefully several notes (Chords)simultaneously?

A Guitar Synth -----http://www.roland.com/V-Guitar/-------- or Melodyne -------- http://www.celemony.com/cms/--------- . Sonar does not convert pitch to MIDI.

Right. It can't convert any audio to MIDI.
