Guitar Rig 3

I am considering the purchase of Guirtar Rig 3. Any opinions or reviews? Is there something else better out there? How is the compatability with Sonar 7? I am considering Guitar Rig 3 Software for $339.00

i have and use guitar rig 3.
imho it sounds realy good for hi gain settings and it is easy to get started with as the presets sound great.
i also have amplitube 2, amplitube jimi hendrix, amplitube metaL.
im not saying amplitube isnt as good it just takes a whole lotta tweaking to get rid of that digital sound, to me amplitube has way to much fuzziness, where guitar rig 3 sounds more natural and realy seems to have that tube sound wright outta the box.
i also have pod xt and maudio black box and i like guitar rig better. tim

I like it. Sure nice to have choices. It and the Line 6 TonePort UX2 seem to keep me not wanting.

GT3 sounds good with the new 64bit Tube plugin in sonar 8 :D Gives it a really nice warmth ontop of what is already there.

I personally like IK's products and in a good setup with correct channel eq you can really get ANY sound you fancy.
