Guitar Rig 4 (4.1.2) Played in 32 bit, but not 64 bit. What's wrong?

Guitar Rig 4 (4.1.2) Played in 32 bit, but not 64 bit. What's wrong?

I had Sonar X1d running Guitar Rig 4 (4.1.2) in 32 bit OS Win 7 mode, and everything worked perfectly.
All I did was change the OS to 64 bit, and re-install fresh, with absolutely no hardware changes at all.
 
Sure enough, Guitar Rig 4 (4.1.2) won't run, won't load, won't uninstall, and I can't uninstall the
drivers for Session I/O, Kontrol, etc.
 
Everything else is fine - I can use X1d, record, bounce, etc. I just cannot use Guitar Rig 4 at all.
 
Completely useless. Any thoughts or ideas before I call Tech Support?

    Did you go to Safe Mode (F8 at startup) and try to remove the program there?

    ...and just out of curiosity, why didn't you use 64-bit to begin with?

    There is a 64-bit version for GR4, make sure you have that version installed. Check your NI Service Center.

    Thanks - I should have figured that out! I naturally assumed that GR 4 would auto-detect the OS, but I guess not.
    Nothing is perfect!
