I love all the guitar amp sims. As a fan of sticking signals through any old amps and speakers, the vst amp sims are a so much easier than wiring up speakers and amps that should have been long sent to amp heaven (or hell).

I don't remember Amplitube coming with Sonar either.
I do remember ReValver tho.
I checked them out recently to see if they're still making it and yes they are.

Sounds damn good too. IMO it's at the top of the list.
But I'm a drummer not a guitar player.
I'd like to hear what guitar players have to say about it.

I believe a version of Amplitube came with Guitar Tracks. Amplitube was never included with SONAR.

Actually, Amplitube X-Gear was "included" in one of my versions of Sonar, but had to be downloaded. But, X-Gear, by that time, had been replaced by another version, maybe Amplitube 3 (?), so the download didn't work. After some confusion about it, I just downloaded the free version.

Been using Producer too long, it would appear that X-Gear was part of X1 Essential and Studio. My apologies.

Hi,

I´m going to sell my Guitar Rig 5 Pro-Software. It was an update from Guitar Rig 4 LE. Both software is registered in my account by native instruments. The buyer could take over my account and can change the name, adress and so on.

If someone has interest, please make a fair offer (in euro please) to "timofinkbeiner@yahoo.de". Paying is simple possible with PayPal or also by transfer. We find a solution.

Looking over the posts here, I'm guessing that Guitar Rig 5 is favorably mentioned most often, followed by TH2. I'll have to take a deeper look at both of them.

It all comes down to opinion, but if you're into overdriven sounds, then 'KUASSA' is worth checking out. http://www.kuassa.com/
