Guitar Rig / Sonar clean tones

Guitar Rig - Clean tones

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably not everyone's cup of tea but my 16 year old son and I did a few duo recordings using guitar rig over the weekend. We each plugged into the a channel of the controller and were using fender amp models: As soon as we get a rough mix, there will be some semi-distorted examples done as well.

There is NO other program out that can get cleans like Guitar Rig. Not Waves Gtr, not Amplitube, not Line 6, Vox, etc....

I must say that I like very much your style!!!!

    Compliments.....

Regarding the timbre .... well, you got the best clean timbre I ever heard from a modeling amp.

However ..... in my opinion .... a real amp is much different.

    Again, you play very well.

Thanks Folks. No doubt a real amp sounds better. My tube amps sound vastly more dynamic but they are also a hassle to setup. I wish NI would come out with an update.

I was using a California Custom hollowbody with Seth Lover pickup. My son was using a Gibson 165 with an Ibanez Super 58 pickup.

Both of us used the Fender amp model with spring reverb emulation though I think I may have used a "studio reverb" for a few of the clips. Studio reverb is an effect within the guitar rig program.
