Guitar Song: Let me know what you think!

Here's a little tune that I started on over the past 2 weeks or so, and have been getting some pretty good feedback. I have remixed it several times so far! I think that it is getting better! I hope!

1) It is recorded on Cakewalk and Wavelab
2) Old Alesis Sr-16 Drum Machine
3) 1968 Fender Twin Custom ( I got it from Ebay )
4) Fender American Standard Tele ( Modified )

I rewired my Tele and installed a Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue pickup in the lead position and a vintage stack in the rhythm position. I also added another 3 way switch for a few more sounds. It is a micro switch between the volume and tone knob.

I am running some compression and a little reverb. I tried Ernie Ball Custom Light strings for the first time ever on this recording and they seem to be pretty good, so far!

Let me know what you think, as far as what else to do to it, or stop messing with it!

    Hay-ull yeah!

    That's some mighty fine pickin' there son! No complaints about the guitar sound. The drum machine sounds like a drum machine, but there's not a hell of a lot you can do about that unless you replace with a good drum synth.

    I like it a lot
    not a country fan, but I have always admired country musicians' musicianship...
