Guitar Tracks Pro 3 MAJOR problems!

Hi there!!

i've just bought this program, so sorry if its a stupid mistake i've made!

But i've installed Guitar Tracks Pro 3 on my vista laptop fine, there's no latency problems, NOTHING =)
However i have NO amplitude, so i cant change my guitar tone or anything when i get to plug in my guitar =(

The weird thing is, that if i search the hard drive i will find a folder called IKmultimedia, and inside it, it hasstuff for amplitude le, like the presets, the manual, etc. But NO amplitude!!

can anyone help me out??
any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

THANKS!!!

Aaron

    Hello Aaron and welcome,

You may have to run the VST adaptor. Try going to your programs list, select cakewalk and then Cakewalk VST adaptor 4. When this program runs, you have to select the folder that contains the VST plug in, in this case Amplitude. You already did the search for Amplitude so just add that folder to the list then click next. Let the VST adaptor do it's thing and the next time you run GT3 it should be available as a plug in. Best of luck.

    Aaron,

Sorry I didn't get to your message earlier, I was away from my computer. After you use the VST wrapper your plugin will show up in your available effects list. Just right click in the blue box above the aux sends in any track. This will give you your list of available effects and amplitude should be in that list.

Perhaps you should read the manual.

    ORIGINAL: pistolpete

Perhaps you should read the manual.

Find 'Amplitube' in the manual then PistolPratt

    Any luck Aaron?

    Yeah!!

    cjlinus was very helpful!!
once amplitude has beeninstalled as a plugin, you open GTP3 and at the top of each track (in the vertical view) theres a little blue screen. you right click that, and select audio effects (or summin like that, its the last on the list), and amplitude le is under that!!

    pretty cool!!
    have you had this problem??
    THANKS AGAIN cjlinus

You're right on the money Aaron!

Thing is, it always has exactly the reverse effect in our experience

Anyway, good news that CJ got you up and running - and don't forget, you know where to come if you need any help at all.

    Aaron,

Glad your set up! Let us have a listen once you get some recording done, that's the best part of this whole thing as far as I'm concerned. Hey Pete, we're still wondering why your soundclick page doesn't seem to work.

I should imagine the old boy is far too busy to upload his vast body of work CJ - what with the up and coming world tour he's organising.

He was over here in the UK for the Donnington Festival apparently - miserable sod didn't look me up and take me for a few pints though.

Oh the fun I missed out on.
