Guy w/ Parkinson’s plays Guitar during Brain Surgery

Fascinating … now if they could just implant a metronome in my head I wouldn’t need Audiosnap.

It certainly is amazing that he's able to play during the surgery.....

I have a hard time keeping time continuously improvise with a metronome.

Metronomes are boring, like a flat roller coaster.

Agreed, BUT trying playing a midi sequenced or recorded part with a LIVE drummer(oxymoron) without a click/metrognome..

Apparently, if you connect a bunch of out-of-sync metronomes with a wooden board and a couple of empty beer cans they will sync … I wonder if that can be extrapolated to a (human) bass player, drummer and guitarist (after inserting metronomes in their brains of course).
