HALion 6 and HALion Sonic 3 for half price until Februari 19

Until Februari 19 HALion 6 and HALion Sonic 3 are available at the Steinberg webshop for 50% of their full price. You can get this price by using the code: VALENTINE2018 at the check-out.

For me this is 175 euro for the full version of HALion 6, and thus simply a no-brainer. I was always interested in this Synth/Sampler/Rompler with it's deep programmable possibilities, but found the price a bit steep for my budget. So, as you all guessed, for me it was an instant buy.

HALion 6 is a very extensive beast, that comes with with a massive (27Gb) amount of presets, samples and more. HALion 6 is comparable with UVI Falcon, but in my opinion is a bit more easy and better programmable (although not everybody will agree with that of course).

HALion Sonic 3 has the same set as HALion 6, but is more limited in it's features. For instance - you cannot  import your own samples like in HALion 6, and you cannot program complete new synths. However - If you do not want to develop synths or sound sets yourself, then HALion Sonic 3 is a lot of stuff for not a lot of money.

Oh - and you do NOT need a hardware dongle for HALion 6 or HALion Sonic 3 (although it is convenient to use one, if you switch between computers often).

    Thanks for the info.  But the closing date is Februrary 19 (not March 19).

    Ouch! You are completely right. My bad - I have changed the title and content of the post.
     
    I also noticed this deal was also mentioned in the "Deals" section of the forum, duh..
    It seems I did not have my brightest moment when I placed this post (to put it mildly)...

    At half price, HALion 6 is a great deal.
    Covers a lot of ground as both a synth and sampler (including custom scripting).
