HAPPY THANKSGIVING To Everyone ! Removed Song - Back in two week's

Just finished recording my drum track for my newest song called " GoodBye My Friend " . My ex-wife's 18 year old medical cat passed away a month ago so this song was created for her and her best friend ( Feathers ) .
I bought her when she was a four month's old and took her home , the kitten from day one was attached to her . She died in my exwifes arm's , Feathers for three years was doing her best to live as long as she could . In her last days she could hardly stand up or eat . She had to had feed her food , her cat finally stop eating and that was pretty much the end . It was just a matter of hours watching her die , anyway I have most of the lyrics written for this song . My second verse I decided to change completely so now I have to rewrite lyrics for that verse .
Hopefully by the end of this week I will record the vocal's , right now I have almost gotten rid of this cold . Any comments on the music and Mix is most welcome , thanks for listening .

The first section of the tune is perfect for the subject matter, with that pretty, poignant motif. I kept expecting that to come back, but it never did. I'd suggest making that the chorus of the song. Mix-wise, it's quite 'blurry' sounding, that may be down to Soundclick's player or the upload, not sure.

Hi Eph , thanks for the listen and comments . I did make some noticeable changes in the mix , I found the one track that was creating this slight unwanted sound so I fixed that track and now I'm going back and recording a new drum track , making some adjustments in the Kit I used in the song .
The next update will have these changes I made today plus lyrics and vocals added hopefully by the end of this week-end .
    Cheers !

Took your advice and went back in and found those mix and sound issue's in one of my tracks for my first verse , remixed the whole song after fixing and also replayed the drum track for my song making some changes in the Kit I used .
Will be working on lyrics and vocals over the week-end , hopefully that will be finished by the end of this week-end .

This is more or less an updated version posted for comments on my vocal mix , haven't written anything for the second verse and not sure if there should be anything or maybe I should work on a different second verse .
