Loved the piano sound you've got. Lovely fluid playing. Nice vocal performance too. Nice work Dan.

Thanky! That piano is NI Alicia's Keys, btw.

Dan, It's performances like this that remind me that I'll never be very good. I just loved the way you performed and interpreted this song. Now I need to go rebuild my ego somehow. Glen

This was kool... The piano arrangement is really nice. Your voice is convincing (that's you Dan right?) shades of Terry Clark's voice. Thanks for letting us know about the piano sample. Sounds killer... Thanks for sharing!

[size=2 font="times new roman"]Hi Dan, My son-in-law had never heard any of Joni's songs but when he was making up a compilation disc for me he fell for this one. Similarly I don't know who Terry Clarke is but, if I hadn't heard you before, I think I'd incline towards a sober Joe Cocker. I'm hiding from Christmas tv at the moment and I really enjoyed your presentation of this song. Thanks. Regards, Vincent.

Dan Barnes I posted this last year and I didn't get my new holiday song nearly finished enough to share, so, back to the default: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9956853 Wow! that was nice! Is that your songs or is that someone elses? Sure like the way you took your voice ANYWHERE on that song and every tone sounded smooth. Excellent job on this!

That's a Joni Mitchell song, krsongs. I tried to do the piano exactly like she did it, dynamics and all. Of course I had to lower the key some.

Dan, Really great job, 2nd listen now... Vocals are awesome, piano sounds really full. I was thinking about Alicia's Keys but was too cheap to pull the trigger. May have to re-consider that decision. Regards

Beautifully played and sung. Very emotive, especially on those vox hi-notes!
