HELP!!!! I'M HAVING ISSUES BOUNCING!! URGENT!!!
HELLO EVERYONE I TRY TO BOUNCE A SESSION AND WHILE I'M IN THE SESSION EVERYTHING WORKS FINE.. EVERYTHING PLAYS PERFECTLY... BUT ONCE I TRY TO EXPORT CERTAIN THINGS GET LOST AND DON'T SOUND AT ALL. ON ONE SONG THERE IS THIS PART IN WHICH THE KICK DRUMS STOPS PLAYING FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS AND THEN GETS BACK ON.. IT HAPPENS BOTH IF I DO AUDIBLE AND FAST BOUNCE! :( PLEASE HELLP MEEE!

Untick the "Fast Bounce" option in the Bounce dialog box. Sorry, I didn't read your post properly. I see that you already tried that.

Tell us more about your system, i.e. soundcard, driver mode, audio settings, etc.

i've got a hp 2.4ghz quadcore on windows xp, i'm on sonar 8.5 .. its a pretty heavy session.. i've got a motu 8 pre... everything runs smoothly the session plays perfectly! everything works fine... automation reads well.. all plugins work.. it runs smoothly even though it is a heavy session. i have all 11 songs on the same session i have exported about 4 songs with no problems whatsoever, on one song... i would try to export and it wouldn't playback the vocals.. and i have the vocals on a bus.. all channels are on their respective buses.. such as a drum bus.. bass.. .gutiars.. vox.. etc... i press play and everything works perfectly.. but when i hit export... stuff starts to get weird... but only on 2 songs have i encountered this... on one song that the vocals didn't work i managed to export it well after a few times.. but on the other song nothing seems to work.. i mean there is just this like 5 second period in which the kick stops working!! :S it just doesn't play ... for like 5 seconds.. but if i listen to the session normally.. it playsback perfectly!!! aghhh! its frustrattiiingg!

Are the missing MIDI-notes random? If they are, raise the MIDI buffer ("MIDI buffers..prepare using..something like that) in the Options-dialogue. SONAR 8..something introduced the issue of randomly dropped MIDI-notes. Also check the Event list to see if there's unintentional commands that mute the MIDI. "Bouncing a session" sounds like exporting?? Are you exporting or bouncing? Have you tried bouncing to tracks the drums alone before bouncing/exporting the session? I assume you talk about MIDI even though you have given no info that would help us answer.

hello! i am exporting the session i have no midi instruments whatsoeve... audio tracks are failing! on one song the vocals didn't playback while exporting on another song it was a kick drum that stopped playing for about 5 seconds during an specific part ( i have no idea why) .... on the kick drum i have drumagog.. i guess it could be some trouble with the plug in.. but on the other track i exported there was no vocals throught all of the song.. but after a few times of exporting it worked.. but on the song with the kick issued.. i have exporte about 15 times.. and still the same problem! :(

OK IT APPEARS TO BE WORKING NOW! AND I SAY APPEARS BECAUSE I HAVEN'T EXPORTED ALL OF THE SONGS.. ONCE I EXPORT ALL OF THE SONGS SUCCESSFULLY WE WILL SEE IF IT WORKED.. WHAT I DID WAS.. FIRST.. FREEZE THE KICK DRUM TRACKS THAT HAD DRUMAGOG SECOND I INCREASED THE AUDIO BUFFER SIZE! THE SONG THAT HAD THE INSANE PROBLEM IS NOW EXPORTED SUCCESSFULLY! I WILL REPORT BACK IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG AGAIN! OR IF EVERYTHING WORKS OUT PERFECTLY! THANKS YOU VERY MUCH! IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS THEY ARE STILL APPRETIATED WHO KNOW HOW THEY MIGHT HELP OTHERS IN THE FUTURE.. OR ME IN LIKE 10 MINUTES HEHE

By the way, please stop shouting :o) Randomly disappearing and reappearing audio sure is a new phenomenon to me. What are your export settings? What soundcard do you have? What samplerate and bit depth are you using? (Oh I missed that you already said you have a Motu) Check for even the most silly and unlikely options: Are you sure you haven't accidentally muted clips with short cuts (is there a mute sign in the corner of any clips)? What if you solo the drum track that doesn't play back? Can you bounce the project to a stereo track or does the problem only occur during export? If you can bounce, you could try that and then export the stereo track to see what happens. Weird problem, really.

oopps hahah my bad! altough on the second post i really was shouting hehe ok so now it all worked but i have now clue why!!!! i export songs all the time and this had never happened... what i did was increase the audio buffer but then it didn't work then i export the beginning of the song... and then cancel it and then export it all.. everything worked now all 11 songs exported.. i'm checking them to search for any errors.. but so far they are sounding good.. i sincerely have no clue what happened with sonar :S: i was exporting... 44.1khz.. 24bit.. no dithering becuase i'm exporting the mixes for mastering by someone else... i've go main mix as the output... it's just freaking strange!
