HEY THERE DELILAH COVER SONG

Hey guys, I tried making a piano version/cover song of the original "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White Ts (this is their myspace: www.myspace.com/plainwhitets). I haven't edited the vocals at all so expect it to be up front...if you have any suggestions or comments please post them because I am trying to make this one really sound professional (especially on what effects to add on the vocals i'm having a tough time deciding). Again, this is only a demo so feel free to critique. Thanks!

    Piano's too roomy vs. the vox and sounds almost distorted on some notes. Vox volume is not very constant. I'd probably try different compressors and parametric EQ'ing on the voice, make it sound a bit tighter. Violin extro can be louder, more sustained, with the last pianonotes as a very gentle afterthought, but that piano sound is more for solo than mixing.

    Thanks man I like your suggestions...yeah that piano is concert piano maybe I should try bringing down the reverb. Anymore comments?
