HOW CAN I RUN 2 MIDI CONTROLLERS AT ONE TIME?

I have a casio PX 130 and am using that as midi controller set with default midi output 1 routed into true piano on sonar X1. I have M-audio key rig 49 set to output 2 routed to Roland Groove synth. They both work great when played alone. As soon as I click related track. but then the other stops working. cant get them both to work at one time?

how are they wired up usb or midi ?

you don't say it if it's sonar etc also. I'm guessing you need to look at your option regarding "arm"ing the midi.. if the other track isn't armed.. then it won't output.. as much as if I have 2 tracks enabled , the sound echo's on both.

I think we'd have to have more info on the Casio unit. Output 2 on the M-Audio pretty much is the same as output 2 on a PCR or A Pro I would think. So, if you use output 1 on a unit for note and expression input and ouput 2 for control messages- midi control on the Casio unit you would have to do the same. Control channel 0, control channel 1. I think the M-Audio unit might be more compatible with the workings of Sonar. I have a V 700 C and PCR 800 working together in Sonar. Since the V700 C is motorized, adjusting the PCR 800 activates and changes the V 700 C and visa-versa. The bottom line is getting your control channels on the same channel.
