HOW TO CONFIGURE ROLAND A-500PRO TO SONAR 8.5LE?
Hi All & greetings.
First of all thank you all for this wonderful forum & I'm over the moon that such as this exists at all! However, I hope I have not come too late for help! Anyways here is my problem. I bought a boss BR800 in March of last year & managed to install all the then updated drivers & soft ware for both the BR800 & SONAR 8.5LE, which came bundled with it, on to my Lenovo T61. But unavoidable circumstances (protracted illness) prevented me from doing any recording at all. Now I've bought a Roland A-500 Pro MIDI controller & find to my horror that it's bundled with SONOR XE-LE version.
I don't really wish to upgarde to any other than the current software (Sonar 8.5LE), as I am a complete novice to digital recording & computers in general...and so would like to learn with what I have ATM.
My question is;
How can I install just the drivers for the A-500 & not XE as well! I just had a look at Sonar -XE bundle, but don't see any seperate drivers for the A-500 in the bundle! looks like an integral part of Sonar XE!
I would be extremely grateful for any advice or help with this.
