HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN CUSTOM MACKIE MODE EMULATION ON A BCF2000 :) VERY EASY!!

I have read a lot of threads all over about how to change the mackie mode commands on the bcf2000!! But nobody ever got to it before!
Its really easy actually and you can assign anything you want to anything on the bcf2000.
You can create ur own mackie emulation that works best for you!!!
You can set solo, mute, select , track mode, eq mode, dynamics mode, pan mode, plugin mode without using the shift button!! Nice to solo a track without having to press "shift"
You can even use a shift button especially for the eq mode to make the rotaries work as band on/off or eq on/off. thats nice!!
This is how to edit the mackie mode commands on the bcf2000. you can do anything you want!! :)

So, this will work only in Standalone mode S4 so you need to connect your BCF2000 to a midi interface. Open BCF2000 in Mackie mode for Sonar (pressing the 4th button while opening) and do the usual to add the  mackie control plugin.

So, once you have that done, close the bcf2000 and open it again (without closing sonar) in BC Mode.
Now you have "fooled" Sonar and it thinks the bCF2000 is in Mackie Mode. (You have to do that everytime you open Sonar and your bcf2000. its not a big deal actually you just close it and open it)

Now you can edit the faders and knobs like this

Faders from 1 to 8 press edit on the BCF2000 and make the setting like this:
fader 1 track 1 volume  Pb channel 1
fader 2 track 2 volume  Pb channel 2
e.t.c
fader 8 Pb channel 8
full duplex!!

the rotaries 1 - 8 are:
rotary 1 cc channel 1  16, 0-127 rel 3
rotary 2 cc channel 1  17, 0-127 rel 3
rotary 3 cc channel 1  18, 0-127 rel 3
e.t.c

For the buttons you can use notes.
here are some of the notes i have found for mackie mode
All notes must have value 1 (4th rotary) to 127 or it wont work.

notes 8-16 is solo track 1 -8
notes 6-23 is mute track 1-8
notes 24 -31 is track select   1-8

note 40 is track mode
note 41 is plugin mode
note 42 is send mode
note 43 eq mode

note 50 makes the rotaries to control track volume

note 68 is track view
note 56 is console view
note 60 is staff view
e.t.c

note 62 insert audio track
note 63 insert midi track
note 64 page up

68 toggle opened windows
69 close project

This is where it gets good!!
notes 71 - 73 work like a shift button for the eq so when you are in eq mode, holding down one of thise buttons assigned will make the 1st 4 rotaries as follows
71 eq shift makes 4 1st rotaries to Q
72 eq shift makes 4 1st rotariesto gain
73 eq shift makes 4 1st rotaries to band enable o/n off and the 5th rotary to enable the eq plugin on/off

74 autmation playback on/off

79 save
80 bus
91 previous marker
92 next marker
93 stop
95 record
94 play

104 -111 channels 1-8 select
46 prev bank
47 next bank

there are some dissadvantages to this, wich i havent got to solve yet.
Mute and solo commands do have feedback on the BCF2000 so if you click mute on a track it will light the button on the bcf2000. but if you have mode (6th rotary) to "on" you need to press the button twice to send the message to sonar to solo or mute. if you have it to "off" still works but when you press the button, you wont get the led light to open. But it still will light if you click solo or mute in sonar.

Rotaries work with feedback so no "jumps" to parameter values when you move the rotary but you dont get the led update on the bcf2000. but who needs it.

I havent found how to go to next plugin when in plugin mode. normaly in mackie mode you press shift + the lower right button (in the encoder groups section) and you go to edit mode. then pressing the lower right button 1st + shift you get into plugin mode. then if you press the lower right button 1st + shift + bank change (the preset buttons) you can go to next plugin and control that.

If anyone can solve the above issues i'd be glad to hear it !!
I havent found out how to go to next plugin. I guess u need a shift button but i dont know howto set that yet.

For more buttons, you can use bc edit to make the encoder group buttons or even the "store" "edti" "learn" "exit" to work as individual assigned buttons to add more functions.
