HOW TO LAYER DRUM TRACKS IN X3 STUDIO????

I've just finished watching the video on Cake TV Drum production Master class and it talks about layering drum tracks. Does anyone know how to access it in Sonar x3 studio?? The video looks like its using Sonar x3 producer.(if you go to Cake TV click on Drum production 1 and go to 18:50 on the time line )  Any help would be great.
thanks.

Studio is exactly the same as producer minus a few extra soft synths, and plug ins. The rest is the same so the video apply s unless they re using addictive drums.

That's what I thought. But they are not using addictive drums. The drum kit is the one that comes with sonar. Everything they do on the video I can do except up to that part of layering, I don't have that function available which I found strange. I've left a msg for the tech guys to see if they can help. Still waiting.

well layering is simply a matter of cloning parts and assigning the output to a different synth. Any DAW will do that.

    Example
Midi snare track- output to Session drummer
Clone the track and change it's output to TTS-1.
Clone the track again and output to a second instance of Session drummer with a different snare loaded.
