Had Better Singer Replace My Vocal - much improved, I think

I posted this tune a couple of months back.  Comments suggested the song was fairly good but the vocal could use improvement.  I knew I couldn't sing it any better so I asked a friend to give it a try.  I think it's definitely an improvement.

(Tracked and mixed with SONAR Platinum, Horns by Kontakt/Session Horns, Lead Guitar by StudioPros, DrumsAD2, other stuff is just out-of-the-box SONAR synths & stuff...)

This excels on all levels.  I'm reminded of Steely Dan's "Countdown To Ecstacy" album.  You make a very compelling argument for using Cakewalk.

    All the best,

Thanks everyone for your kind words, encouragement and support. I deeply appreciate that.

I love SONAR. Sure, there have been times I've become frustrated with some aspect of the program but the developers of this product are far more responsive to their customers than most other manufacturers.  I have several friends using other DAW software.  They seem have no voice at all when it comes to communication with developers.

Never heard the first version either, but this is very well done! Very clear, well-articulated mix. Vocal is perfect for this.

BTW, I tried reading the lyrics, but kept getting distracted by the picture, lol!

Really nice tune and pro sounding mix. Lynn said it best I think. You make a compelling argument for using Sonar
