    The mix sounds good to me - good song - nice job.  The acoustic rhythm guitar sits well in the mix.

    No crits here.  Good song and lyrics carried by a good vocal.  The mix is solid on my KRK's.

    I like the song. Everything except bass guitars could really stand a lift around 75hz and 500 hz. (Especially 75hz.) I boosted them on my mixer during playback and it made quite a difference. The vocals are especially thin and nasally at the moment in my opinion and could use some low end girth. Really good song though.

    Thanks Wayfarer, all that is good to know. I'll see what I can do. Did that lift work for the vocal? I'm afraid nasally and thin is exactly how my vocals are and putting a top-hat on a mule is still just a mule with a top-hat on. ;)

    Yeah, it worked best on the vocals. It made the bass guitar stick out too much, but it worked pretty well for everything else.

    I agree with the observations made already. Great mix though and the vocal ... well if you wanted to take it down a bit, use two tracks for the same vocal and take the mid up on one and the high down a tad on the other ... but is it worth the faffing around if your a donkey? I love your stuff so keep on rocking ...
