Thx for listening bassjoker.  I need to sharpen up the B section a little.  You think I should add a guitar track?

It's scary enough now but building it up to something more would be even better.

221, I always enjoy listening to your creations.  Always so challenging.  Very dynamic and nuanced.

You always step outside the lines and bring a fresh perspective.  This is a very interesting piece.  I hear some Stravinsky, and some Copeland too, and some post modern noodlings.

In my opinion, this is the best creation I have heard from you.

You need to cal Momix Dance Troupe, and have them choreograph something to this.

For only being 6:02 long, this thing FKA.

Awesome, truly.

Scary  as in frightening, or in messiness? :D:D  Did it make you bite a towel?  Thx for the feedback, stringjammer I really respect your opinion.

For me it created a feeling of kids in costumes trick or treating scurrying from door to door, jack o'lanterns shining in the dark. I enjoyed it. John

I've truncated it so you don't have to listen to the whole thing.  But should I add this gay ending?  Is it too much of a non sequitur?

not a very pc thing to say there mate - you could say 'should I add this effeminate ending?'

I didn't mean effeminate though.  But I'll change it if people are upset.

I'd agree with the comment "this is the best I've heard from you!"  . . . certainly mix-wise, it holds up very well. Occasionally those "bones" popped out a little too loud.

To add something, what about some "tocatta and fugue in d minor" rippin' classical organ work? That would be sweeeeet in here!

nice job!

I like the composition itself. You have some nice melodic ideas but it sounds also contemporary. More pertinently you have avoided Halloween cliches and also making it sound like a Hollywood score.  But...sometimes the piece sounds out of time and i think that is the articulations for the various strings. Also, there is no volume dynamic in the parts. I am the same, i'm no MIDI/CC editor guy. And of course it would sound better with Albion or EW samples behind it...

Thank you for your valuable insight mgh.  I've noticed I have timing issues, sometimes they're happy accidents but most of the time it's distracting.  The recording of *camp* suffers from that (very noisy as well).  If I have time I'm going to go through and re record the good ones.
