Thanksgiving - I'm so fortunate to have my guitar room. I'm thankful for each guitar I have. They were hand picked by me and each is for a particular style I play. I'm thankful for the equipment I have because it helps me keep my chops together. I'm thankful for the musicians I have met and the opportunity to use the skills I have developed over the past 40 years. I'm thankful for the gigs I've had and the bands that let me perform with them. Most of all I'm thankful I can still play for the joy of playing and the happiness it gives me to share that feeling as I'm playing it. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

    Happy Holidays.

I am in Dubai, where they do things a little differently. Next Monday (2nd) is UAE National Day and is a public holiday. Friday and Saturday are the weekend.

Today is a holiday because they were awarded Expo 2000 last night, but they did not announce the holiday untill about 10pm last night, I think most people are at work. Sunday might be a holiday, but no one is sure.

Edit - So the latest is Sunday will be the public Holiday for National Day, not Monday (if you are in the private sector - Public sector get both).  Just as will as I am working right through.
