Happy New Year 2013 by The Spoads
Hey Cakies .....Here`s a project I was involved in with Guitarist Brent Doerner (HELIX) and his Drummer twin Brian Doerner(HELIX, Refugee, Ray Lyell, SAGA) our Bassist was Nathan Litt and Obviously I did the Vocals and the Mix ....Brent did the video all shot on Green Screen still amazes me to this day how that works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUxF0kc_12k Hope you enjoy! Love It.
The mini-sized guitar solo at 1:13 got my blood flowing... just enough to leave me wanting more.
I really enjoy how much effort and detail they put in to making the the of the song seem shallow and matter of fact; "Were gonna drink beer in 2103".
Great craftsmanship.

Thanks Mike...Yeah we really wanted to get it out before the 21st ...since the whole premise of the tune was the world was not gonna end...because Conspiracy Theorists saw a calendar end LOL...Its supposed to be light hearted poking fun at them and a little funny. Brent felt with the Rhythm and the Harmony Rhythm tracks he`d done that it didn`t need any crazy big Solo`s in it.

Great video and production by Yohu Alan. Your vocals are superb too. I was listening to that cover of a Be Bop Deluxe track i did about three years ago and you did the vocals for me. Your voice on that still sounds great.
