An American is being shown around his Irish cousin's modest farm.

They both stand on top of a small hill and the Irishman points to some local landmarks to show the extent of his property.

The American retorts with the statement, "You know, back home, I can get in my car at sun-up and by sundown I haven't even reached the other side of my property.

The Irishman swiftly replies, "Sure, I once had a car like that."

My local pub has hired an Irish folk band for the evening. Should be fun. But I'll be on cider rather than the black stuff.

Happy Paddy day boys, don't get plastered too much. Those Irish holidays must account for my worst hangovers evah. Sheesh.

My girlfriend works in an Irish pub. I think I'll be stopping in for a visit or two today...

    Irish is actually short for:

Q : why are jokes about Irish people so easy to understand ?

A: well it's so outsiders can understand em

I've had it when people assume I'm "English" due to my accent and they say something rather rude about the Irish, of course I feel it my duty to put them right , being a plastic paddy and all.
